i would have to say that ray franz was the biggest influence for me.. when i first got on this board, a poster by the name of james, a former bethelite and organization heavy, helped me understand a lot of the inner workings in the upper echelons of the society.. .

and of course, farkel's common sense approach was (usually) helpful..

I went to him after he was DF and ask , why.

He told me it is all BS, read CoC.

Definition of "Active Publisher" depends on the context

i don't know what the current definitive rule is that determines whether someone is viewed as an "active publisher" or not.

i've seen comments suggesting that it is reporting a certain minimum number of hours per month which seems reasonable.. what is interesting is how they change the definition of what an active publisher is based on the context.

normally, you are never doing enough, however much you are doing, and too little or some missed reporting will get you a talking to.. but note how they class 'active' in one of the latest body of elders letters:.

You ex-elders remember how you use to pad the books before the CO visit. Elderly sister only able to attend the meetings.

Sister elderly, how many times a day do you mention Jehovah to someone, how often do you tell someone you are a JW. When you go to the doctor he knows you are a JW and no blood, that's a witness..

I figure we can muster up two or three hours for you this month.

You told me you fell in the yard and yelled out, Jehovah help me and your neighbors came to your aid, that's a witness. They heard you calling out Jehovah. Maybe you got into a dispute with your neighbor and before you could call this woman a name you call on Jehovah out loud please get this bitch out of my face. You see that's a few minutes...

my 10 year old son is paying attention at the meetings

the public talk on sunday was about evolution.. my son pointed out flaws in the speakers arguments during and after the meeting... mostly about how animals aren't able to communicate etc.

he even brought up coco the ape that is able to communicate via sign.. i told him that i heard a ton of inconsistencies but i am afraid to say anything because your mom will get angry :).

im glad he is paying attention.. and the school system must be doing something right..

Thanks for all all your comments. If you are a first time visitor please

take note, this is a UGLY and dangerous organization.

It never end. I have grandkids , great nephews and nieces who

look at me as if I have leprosy. They don't know me.

My own grandkids have started to pull back on the rare occasion

I see them. I reach out to hug them and they pull back but I'm

thankful that my daughter bring them around..

What do my JW family members tell the other none JW family ,

We love him he needs to come back to Jehovah.
